TINA – The Tina Turner Musical comes to Tilles Center March 2026

Tina’s production on New York’s Broadway featured 430 unique costumes designed by Mark Thompson, winner of two Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Costume Design. Many of Thompson’s designs were recreations of iconic costumes that Turner herself had worn performing.

In 2024, Tina’s production on London’s West End launched an exhibition connecting costumes from the musical with empowering and iconic looks worn by the singer herself. The West End production partnered with Women’s Aid, an organization Turner long supported.

As a survivor of abuse herself, Tina Turner wanted this musical to be truthful to her life and in her own words “turning poison into medicine”.

Thompson, who designed costumes for the shows original broadway run, will return as designer for the musical’s upcoming North American tour.

TINA – The Tina Turner Musical’s second North American tour is set to launch in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 8th before coming to Long Island at 7pm on March 19th.
